The report, as filed
As they started moving south west, they change directions to south east. I could hear the helicopter but I couldn't hear what I was seeing. As it got closer to me, if changed from a ball of white light to red and green blinking lights. It took a while to report because I wasn't sure what I saw until I read another report about a medicine ball of white light that made no noise

At 6:47pm while sitting at Kate sessions park in San Diego my 3 friends and I noticed some mysterious lights in the distance over the military base north island. There were 5 lights spaced out and seemed to reconfigure to 3 into a shape of a triangle. Then they proceeded to form a straight line. At this point there were 4 lights. They eventually all vanished. Just one craft visible, hovering red lights constantly on, then it looks like other red lights were coming towards it, and as soon as they all came together, they disappeared so we stopped. I snapped a photo of light in the distance, and then a zoomed in the same shot same angle, and I didn’t know what I was picturing until I looked at the photo and that’s what came out.

Seen a triangular shaped object in the sky with the top tip with a constant right and the bottom points with synchronized flashing lights. This all lasted 1 min, if at that. The sky was dark so could not make out the build of the UFO. The lights dimmed and vanished after about 1 min.. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD
