Cylinder over Truxton, NY

At 10PM I went to the second floor to go to bed. I turned the lights out. I saw an unusual light out the window. It first looked like a glowing cross. I got closer to the window to examine. I was looking south. I counted 3 of the light objects. Two seemed nearer, one more distant in the southeast. The lights were silent. They were not moving. The nearest one to me started moving toward me. Nothing about the light changed except as it got nearer it increased in size. I guess the distance to me was within a mile. Then it swerved to the northeast so I ran to the east bedroom window and watched it disappear over the hill. I ran back to the first bedroom window and saw the second light moving in the same direction after the first one. I ran downstairs and went outside to get another look. It also disappeared over the hill. Back inside, I saw from the window, the third more distant light hadn't moved. So I went to bed. Each of the lights was a vertical cylinder of white light. Each white light had 2 distinct "fingers" of reddish light emanating to the left, and 3 to the right. They moved slowly and there was no sound coming from them. I didn't take pictures.
