Other over MS

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

Noticed this as I was looking through footage from drone flying along the waterway in Burnsville. This is ocer the waterway to the right, if traveling east on Hwy 72 through Burnsville MS towards AL. I have no idea what this could be, but in the video, the shipping dock seen to the right is of the Silica Plant is Burnsville. This object 1st appears past the dock and across the water from the dock, where the shade begins, and flies as if it's shot out of the forest somehow, passes just left of my drone. Starting over a mile away and screaming by the drone all in less than one second, that's roughly over 3600 mph! I sent this video to MUFON, and sadly their baffled as well, after their investigation, they started, " I have not a clue, closing this as Unknown/other....SD/MS Sorry I couldn't help you out but the case is a high level disposition, I even looked up river for possibly anyone else that may of seen it and nothing is coming up.....I've attached my screenshots that will be put up on your report, thought you might like to see them as well........... Thanks for using Mufon Stay safe/Stay Blessed Fred" So I'm hoping that someone can tell me what this is, at least the approximate size or a corrected speed of this object.

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #172221). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
