I was out taking my dog out for his evening walk and looking up at the clear night sky on this cloudless, moonless night well after the sun had gone down. I noticed a double row of lights moving slowly from west to east. I pulled out my phone to record it on video but my flash light was on so that wasn't possible. So I just kept watching and within 5 or 10 seconds it just disappeared. If I held my hand out at arms length, the lights were about 6 inches long and about 1/2 in apart. However, since I have no idea how far away it was, I can't have any sense of its actual size. I'm 66 years old and have my full cognitive abilities. I enjoy looking at the night sky and live in a place with minimal light pollution. And for that reason, when I walk I tend to keep my headlamp off so I can see the stars clearly. At the time I thought it was odd that my flash was on because I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't know how to turn it on, and I just assumed I accidentally turned it on either before or as I tried to do a video recording. But after seeing the question below about electrical effects, I just checked and now the flash is off, which definitely adds to the mystery...
