The report, as filed

What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

I was looking at the stars when I got home from work. As I was scanning the clear sky I saw what I thought was a flock of birds. As I continued to look I noticed it was not birds and it was a low flying ufo craft. It was triangle shaped and had lights all around it. It looked to be see through but I could also see the craft. It was right above my house and scared me to where I ran for my porch. I walked back to continued watching as it slowly kept gliding by off into the distance. It was getting higher as is got further. I tried to take photo and video but I do not see anything in them.

I first thought it was a firework that went astray, yet it kept going further and further. The color was orange-red and it was moving very quickly across the sky moving from east to west. It did change direction very quickly at least three times, but continued in its east to west migration. I asked my wife to grab her phone and take a video, but by that time it was already over the horizon. The light we saw was an oval orange light that did not resemble aircraft lights either helicopter or plane, and it moved much too quickly and changed direction too abruptly to be a normal aircraft.
