The report, as filed
I was walking outside to get something from my daughter's car and when I unlocked the car, the headlights blinked - and I saw a light out of the corner of my eye to the right. When I looked over, there was some type of aircraft, triangular in shape, that appeared to be hovering, and a spotlight of some sort popped on and shone towards her car. I then turned and ran back into our house and I stood at our glass storm door and watched as it flew very slowly above where our cars were parked, our detached garage and continued north until it was out of sight. I couldn't help but notice that it was very large, flew very close to the ground, and had very little sound. It sounded almost like the whirring of wind, but I never heard an engine. I also noticed that the spotlight, although it was aimed towards the ground at first, when it got closer, it moved up to be parallel with the ground as it moved past my house. **This is report 1 of 2 **

I went out of my door and walked down the stairs, and when I looked up, I saw a triangular shaped aircraft hovering in front of me over our field. When the door closed behind me, a light appeared -like a searchlight- and started to raise from the aircraft and head towards me. I immediately turned around and ran back inside and when I turned to look at the aircraft again, I noticed that the searchlight was off and it was moving to me.I stayed at the glass storm door while it approached, and it came directly over my head, over my house, until I could no longer see it. I had noise cancellation on my AirPods, but had yelled for my daughter...she got up and joined me, and while she did not see it, she did say that she heard it - said it sounded like a plane, but not like other planes...definitely quieter than others. She also said she saw a red flashing light on the rear of the aircraft.
