Cigar over Plymouth, VT

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

I was sitting outside on my porch. I always watch the sky stars aircraft etc. from the west I notice two red flashing lights at first I was betting in my head it was a rescue helicopter or the sort due to speed. The very unusual thing was as it moved across the sky, I clearly saw that the lights were kind of Atari ponging back and forth yet a large space between said lights. It was the fact as it approached closer and even clearer the lack of any noise is what really got me thinking hmmmm. Not sure if this would qualify. Also an unusual flight path if it is domestic. I watch and listen to my surroundings, kind of “stop to smell the roses” type of nature thing,

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #170449). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
