We were having a drink in my basement bar and my neighbor had his Ring Camera alert him with the video I provided. We have no explanation of what we see in this video.

I was driving west leaving work. I was on highway 160 approaching Talisman drive. I noticed very bright lights coming in a southeast direction. I Looked up to assume I would see an airplane. My thoughts were that craft is flying very low, that it would barely make it above the trees. And that it was so large it couldn't possibly land at our local airport. I also noted that it had no "wings" and no tail. There were about 6-8 white lights and one red on the craft's left side. And no detectable sound. It was very clear and distinct. The craft was flying just above a local fast-food restaurant, and was larger than that building. I stopped in my lane and watched it fly over my car. It disappeared when I looked in my rear-view mirror. I have been looking in our town's newspaper for any reports of a large aircraft sighting. I have found none. I am very curious and would like to hear your thoughts. I was in such awe I did not get a photo. I did however, look on Google and found a photo of what I recall seeing. Please understand this is a photo off Google and not my own. It shows exactly what I saw.

It was early in the morning (about 12am) of my 19th birthday, June 25th, 2016. At the time I lived with my parents in a small southwestern Colorado town called Pagosa Springs. I had spent the night out celebrating my birthday with four friends (all of whom were 18-20 years old as well) and we had ended up parked in a small dirt area right near the bank of a large lake that was about 30 or so minutes outside of town called Echo Lake, which sits at the base of a few very large hills and cliffs. Echo Lake was off a highway and I later found out that the area just two hours further down the highway from where we were by the lake is the Los Alamos research facility that’s located in New Mexico. I very vividly recall standing with my back turned to the forest so that I was facing my four friends where they all stood, and behind them was a wide swathe of the lake. There was probably 15 or so feet of the dirt parking area between my back and the treeline. It was an exceptionally clear, warm summer night and we didn’t have any music or sound playing. The night sky was totally cloudless, and stretched out vast above us, and the light pollution in the town at the time was practically zero so we spent a lot of time that night stargazing and looking at the bright moon. I say this to let you know that there wasn’t any weather or clouds obscuring our view or warping anything. A few minutes past midnight I was standing facing my friends - with my back to the trees- and was chatting with them. All of a sudden as I’m mid-sentence, my friends eyes all grew huge in their heads and they all had absolutely shocked looks on their faces. At the same time their expressions changed, I suddenly heard this “whooshing” sound coming from directly behind me. I really don’t know how to explain it but it was sort of like the sound of water sloshing in a washing machine? But more silent and very rhythmic. I turned around towards the noise see what my friends were looking at, and literally probably 5 feet behind my back was the very end point of a triangle (imagine a flat triangle if it were laying on the ground in front of you and the top point of it was pointing directly toward you you). It hovered mid-air above the ground at about the same height as me (I’m 5’5”) and was fairly thick from top to bottom. It looked like it might have been 6’x6’ in size but I was in such shock at the moment that I saw it that it was like my brain froze and couldn’t figure out the details of what was happening in front of me. I’ve never seen anything hover the way this object/ship did before or since. The craft was pitch black in color - think vanta black - and I vividly remember thinking “how in the world did I not notice something this big literally directly behind my back?!” It hovered mid-air in front of me for maybe 40 seconds, and as it hovered it absolutely LIT UP with lights. Like blindingly white/orange light. It was like all along the edges of it had lights that came on in a way that was like if you turned up a dimmer switch. When the lights came on I realized that the ship was just the outline of a triangle, there was no center to it, only two edges that met at a tip/point. I’ve seen drawings in the gallery on the NUFORC website that exactly match what I saw. After the craft had lit all of its lights and had hovered in front of me with the tip directly 5 or so feet in front of my face, it suddenly shot straight up into the sky faster than anything I have ever witnessed in my life. It lifted so far up into the night sky that it was only mildly larger than the size of a bright planet might be, and once it was in the sky it had a more orange hue than the stars. My friends and I all followed it up into the sky and never took our eyes off of it. Once it reached the night sky, it took off and shot straight across the sky and over the hills, again traveling faster than I’ve ever seen anything travel before. Once it was a good distance away and over the hill it suddenly went left at an incredibly sharp 45 degree angle and shot off so fast that it disappeared within a second. I don’t think a single one of us blinked once the entire time all of this happened. We all stood there in total shock with our mouths open until one friend shouted “did everyone else see that?!” At which point we all erupted and started talking about it. This was when one friend said it headed in the exact direction of Los Alamos. Needless to say, we all talked about it for months after the fact, anytime we saw one another. I told my mom about it at my birthday dinner later that same day, but I’ve actually never spoken a word of it to anyone else for fear of people not believing me or thinking I’m nuts. Me and all my friends were sober at the time of this happening, and I always worry that everyone will think we were under the influence of something and brush it off. But I swear this all happened and it is one of the most insane experiences I’ve ever had in my life. Seeing the drawings in the website gallery that looked just like the craft I saw was the most excited I have felt in a long, long time. I like to think that whoever was manning the craft was stopping by to say happy birthday to me! Years later on my 24th birthday I would have another experience seeing more than one possible UFO sighting in the skies above the Sierra Nevada mountains on a camping trip, so I really feel like they drop by to say happy birthday haha! I don’t know whether or not it could have been some sort of military drone, but I feel like that would be a VERY odd place for the military to have flown anything considering it was technically in a populated residential area where houses would be able to spot it, and it was a very popular lake for people to be at all hours, especially small town teenagers who had nothing better to do in the dead of night. I also just cannot put into words how “not of this world” the ship seemed. It was almost like it was coming into physical reality as I looked at it, as if it had been invisible and very quickly regained physical form while I watched. Anyway, it was incredible! I’ve long since lost touch with all of those friends but I’m sure it’s burned into their brains the way it is mine.
