The report, as filed
I leaned back and looked out our chalet wall of glass and immediately noticed a small white triangle shaped air craft. It was moving in the opposite direction of the cloud movement. It was moving SSW. I jumped to my feet after seeing it for a couple seconds and opened front door and stepped outside to listen for noise. I heard no noise from a jet or other sound from air craft. It simply disappeared behind the clouds.

I was on my ex gf cabin porch at night sitting with my dogs. All of a sudden it seemed like every dog and coyote within miles were either barking or howling all at once. My dogs were going nuts. Out of nowhere a completely dark very large craft drifted over the house moving at what seemed 10 to 15 mph smoothly. It seemed so large that it blocked the moonlight as it flew over. It made a strange whooshing noise like no other flying craft I have ever heard. But the noise was only while it was right above the house. I did not hear the craft coming or leaving. It was so low that the large trees were shaking and it seemed to kind of rumble the house. My dogs retreated inside terrified and as quickly as the craft arrived it was gone and then there was complete silence for a min. Which if you live in the woods you know there is always noise. This was silence, no frogs, no crickets, no cicadas, nothing. It was the wildest experience with a ufo I’ve ever had. Just typing this story has every hair on my body standing up.

While looking to the northeast on a clear night we saw a small, white light which we at first thought was a stair. We then observed that it was moving in circles and erratically while staying in basically the same location. There was no wind and nothing, i.e. trees, between us and the object. We took several videos on our phones.

Very bright, low flying orb

this object was to the west north west of home at altitude (guessing )1500' to 2500' . was circle , with alternating lights mostly red , orange ...like a fire ,and smaller white lights . all lights were intensely bright , brighter than any star in sky . it was almost motionless but was slowly moving up 2 degrees and same downward . then it would move slowly 3 degrees to west . A aircraft to the west 7 to 10 degrees and minimum 2000' above object flew above and to left of object and no response from object . distance from me i cannot really judge but index finger would not cover object but my thumb would , hope that helps . I watched it for about a minute and then called my 28 yr old son to look at object an tell me what he saw ....he was flabbergasted because he said ..daddy , that's no star or plane and we watched it for about 5 minutes more . i turned to him and asked ..where did it go ? do you still see it ? he said no and we both concurred that either th! e object just cut all lights off or it took off too fast for our eyes . this is as detailed as i can get . thank you

Three of us were sitting on my porch in Franklin, NC, when one of us saw the fireball come over the mountains from the west. We all looked at it and I thought it was a comet of some sort, but it didn’t make any sounds, didn’t leave any kind of trail and it was moving much more slowly than it should have been I thought. It moved from West to East just south of us and it took quite a long time to do so. It was glowing like it was on fire but again, no tail. It seemed like a giant hot ball of iron glowing after being pulled out of the fire. Compared to the size of the planes in the sky it was either quite close or very large. After seeing it move through the sky and behind the mountains on the east, it felt more like it was something that was made to look like a comet or meteor. After we couldn’t see it anymore we all waited outside for any kind of sound. Thinking if it hit somewhere we would hear or feel something you know. There was no sound though, even when a jet passes at 30,000 feet overhead you can hear the roar of the engines after it has passed, so it was quite strange that there was absolutely no sound at all.
