The report, as filed
It was on a December night in 2021 that my 14 year old daughter and I had picked up my 24 year old (at the time) daughter from work and dropped her off at my mother's in Gales Ferry. We then drove home and as I made a left hand turn onto route 201, we observed some very bright lights on the left side hovering behind the trees on the farm. My daughter said she saw it as a rectangle with extremely bright lights on it while I just saw the extremely bright lights. I believe there was a car coming behind me so I drove about 100 feet ahead to a road on the right and turned around to go back and it was gone. I had also rolled my window down in the truck to hear but there wasn't any sound. My daughter was in shock, not believing it has just disappeared, I think she may have screamed. I turned the truck around and drove home, about 4 minutes down the road.
