During helicopter flight at approximately 1000’ AGL, the pilot saw a strange object that had symmetrical lines while under night vision goggles. The object was very far from the aircraft and moved quickly and flew over top of the helicopter while in flight. One of the crew members were able to take a picture of the object and were later informed by a friend on the ground in another location that they saw the same object and were able to get a video of it.
