I said that is no plane. The object was moving very quickly and by the time I reached into my pocket to retrieve my iPhone it had passed us. I filmed it for more than 2 1/2 minutes but by then it was so far away. There was no sound, it moved very quickly and steadily. It appeared to be descending You can hear our comments and see the object in the video

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
