Triangle over Huber Heights, OH

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

I'm a truck driver and on the early morning of November 12th I saw an unidentified flying object. Around 03:45 am along I-70 heading east off to my left I saw an object, triangular in shape. Around the Huber heights area in Ohio approximately 200 feet off the ground flying in a NE direction towards Springfield Ohio. It was black in color on the back a row of lights amber in color went from left to right all across the back. On the underside dead center was a single red light that was flashing. It was about 500 meters off to my left north of I-70 at that distance it was massive. No apparent sound, I was traveling at 65 mphi estimate it was doing maybe 80 to 90 mph. About 5 minutes before it was out of view, I had no safe place to pull over in my truck to get my phone out. On the bottom edges were faint white lights the length of all 3 sides. I couldn’t estimate the size but it was massive. I'm prior military and I know that was no plane currently in our air force or civilian inventory.

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #160577). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

7 March 2020 Huber Heights, Ohio (Dayton, Ohio Suburb) At approximately 1930 hrs. this evening, I took my dog out to use the restroom. It was just past dusk. As I was standing and waiting for my dog to relieve herself, I had looked up to the sky to glance at the almost full moon. Still waiting for my dog and having turned the opposite direction, I looked up to see the bright star (planet Venus) and noticed what I thought was going to be a shooting star. The “shooting star” did not shoot, however was moving very fast. I then noticed the immediately behind it was another “shooting star”, and then another. They were moving very rapidly, were equally spaced apart. I got my wife from inside and had her come outside quickly. She likewise witnessed the objects, to which we now counted eleven or twelve before they vanished out of sight. Again, each spaced equally apart, moving very rapidly. These objects were too high to be normal aircraft. There were no flashing lights like would be observed on commercial aircraft. Being outside of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, you would surmise that it might be military aircraft on the move in or out of the base, but again, these objects were too high. There was no noise to be heard from the objects, just very faint light. The objects were moving from the southwest to the northeast

Huber Heights, OH

Standing outside looking to Northwest, saw bright object between 500 to 1,000 feet off the ground, extremely bright, white flying northwest from towards Dayton international airport, banking and climbing. There was no noise, no flashing lights, and moving to fast to be any aircraft or drone. I’ve been around aircraft and worked for the air force since 1976. Could not have been a meteor as stated it banked and rose before going out of my line of sight.

While looking out of my front door, I noticed a very large and bright light within my peripheral vision. At first, it slowly moved, but then seemed to stop and hover in the night sky. Thinking that it would change, I stared for quite a long time after having called my husband and children to look as well. My entire family was mesmerized at what they saw because of the brightness of it and yet it did not move. We called our local Air Force base [Wright Patterson, Dayton, Ohio] in which the officer asked my husband if he had been drinking? However, after much convincing, he then gave us 2 numbers to report a UFO. And then after about an hour, the object simply disappeared with a quickness.
