Oct.31st 8:00pm Est.Temp.35 F. Stepped out my front door facing West to retrieve my container of candy and flashlight. I noticed a few orange glowing objects heading due North over Rensselaer and over Albany NY. The objects seemed to vary slightly from a bright orange with yellow interference. The objects were traveling at a steady slow rate and equal distance 1/4 mi.apart from South to North. I Ran into the house to get my phone to document these bright orange silent objects. My phone had no data available at the time. I grabbed my 750 candle power flashlight and aimed directly at the last orange object and attempted to signal the object, it proceeded North and faded away over Albany.

I stopped just past an intersection, to take pictures of what I thought was a pretty sky. I took several photos in sequence. I didn't notice anything in particular. When I looked at the pictures on my phone, I noticed a white spot in the sky. I have a good phone, so I zoomed in on it. It looks to be a series of lights. Either 4 with a reflection off the cloud to look like 8, or actually 8 lights in a rectangluar formation. Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD

While out walking my dog, I saw a bright, stationary, light in the south western sky over the port of Albany, New York. Thought at first was a star or an airplane. Upon a closer look through binoculars, the light appeared to be subtly dimming and brightening, and also appeared to have subtle flashing red lights. Suddenly, it appeared like a spent fireworks display with uneven and jagged "smokey like" tenticle like entrails. The object appeared to be stationary and not moving. I called the local PD who had no reports of a similar sighting. I went out about an hour latter to walk my dog and saw the same object more in the north eastern horizon and there appeared to be a second similar object slightly south west of it. There are lots of commercial aircraft that fly near here...Albany International Airport is about 10 miles from my house. These were not airplanes! Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD
