Circle over Bellmawr, NJ
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
Moving south to north at a high rate of speed, was a round sphere of alternating colors. I spotted the object moving towards us and passing directly over our heads, as we were in my friend’s backyard. I quickly called out my observation, and at least four other adults witnessed the object and the flashing colors. The other witnesses were minors, but they saw the object as well. It was moving quickly and was not very high in the night sky, but it wasn’t low either. No sounds could be heard from the object. One theory was that it could possibly have been a drone of some type, but overall size appeared much too large to be a drone. None of the witnesses were intoxicated, and range in age from 35 to 47. Three of the witnesses were male, and two were female.
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #157317). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
