A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

Zig zagging over Ireland at about 100 miles or more above covering vast distance quickly Would zig zag and stop all of a sudden and then speed up. With normal eye sight looks like one bright light could be mistaken for star or trying to blend in. Under telescope 3 lights in triangle form can be clearly seen Object covered vast distance at least 200 square miles Staying in area for over 2.5 hours dimming and getting brighter as it went fast Bright object about 6/10 on brightness scale Local temperature was 17 degrees c Visibility was good Summer Triangle of stars witch can been seen during northern hemisphere summer was at 12 o clock in the sky and is where this event took place Along with many other stars and satellites passing through at time mentioned on astronomy Ireland, example (star link sat) I am a advocate and frequent amateur astronomer this object operates right above my location on the 7• magnitude line what I seen could not have been mistaken for anything else I could not believe how irate and erratic the object was I am deeply fascinated and searching for answers Unfortunately I am using a basic telescope I have a iPhone 7 and due to the height and distance any pictures or videos could not be obtained, I hope this statement would be of some help Please thank you for all your great work during these hard times And wishing all of you there a safe and happy work day

What would the paper say?

Irish records answer to the Freedom of Information Act 2014. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
