Date: May 15, 2020 (approximate) Time: 18:30 (approximate) I was feeling quite good about myself for having finished the second draft of my novel, and decided to go out for my usual evening walk by Yitong River. I walked out of my housing near the KFC, made my way to Ziyou road, walked by the restaurants, and down the footpath which lead towards under the Ziyou road bridge, turned right, and walked under the bridge. Not long after I’d emerged from under the bridge and had just passed by the small amphitheatre where people were dancing, I heard a collective “Phwoar!” behind me. A sound of excited awe and curiosity. I spun around 180 degrees, and there I saw it, rotating silently, hovering not much higher than the tree tops. A large, black, windowless, triangle shaped object with blinking red lights on each corner. I wondered to myself “Is that a drone?” before it stopped rotating, and moved not quite straight up (slightly north-ish) at incredible speed, and then it was gone.
