As reported

Unknown over Edgewood, WA

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

After a second I realized that the light hadn’t moved at all because it was actually a star and what was moving were the two dimmer lights tracking in a southeast direction at airliner speed. I’ve been hearing about the Space X star link satellites and looked for other lights moving in conjunction with these two lights but only saw the two lights moving across the sky. The two lights were spaced at approximately 15 degrees apart and continued in an east/southeast direction for about 15-20 seconds until I lost sight of them due to the trees. I did not hear any sounds of an engine nor did I see any red flashing lights to indicate these objects might have been some type of known aircraft. I also did not see any pulsating from the lights on the objects while I observed their flight. The lights were far enough away that I wasn’t able to distinguish the shape of the objects. Observer background: Male in late 20’s who has attended 2 UFO Summits at Ocean Shores WA. Heard Peter Davenport speak in March 2020 at Summit. Frequent listener to Coast to Coast AM. Have made one previous report to MUFON in 2019 for light sighting in the eastern sky over back yard.

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #156043). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

My buddy and I were smoking in an open field when we both were struck with a very bright light that blinded us for a second. Our best guess was lightning but there wasn’t a could in the sky. We were completely alone in the dark and have no explanation for where this light came from. Our friend had just passed away the day before so we thought maybe it could have been him, but my best guess is a ufo.

from my window I saw what looked like a plane on aproach to seatac airport. I went out side and saw 2 red/yellow,orange lights or fire balls flickering and pulsing travel from what looked like puyallup/sumner area north up hwy 167 to abought the 8th st. exit and went east over lakeland hills and continued east toward Buckly and Enumclaw. The third fire ball appeared in the same place 5 min. after the first two, and roughly followed same path.

I was cleaning up in my detached garage. I looked out the window and saw several brilliant red lights moving from North to South. The lights were much brighter than the airliner lights on planes coming into Sea Tac airport. There were a few airliners in the same airspace so I could compare. I left the garage, watching the lights; and as I got a larger view, I could see it was a parade of these things as far as I could see from North to south. I went to the back door of my house and called out my wife. We both stood on our back deck watching this long parade pass by. We looked through 10X binoculars and both agreed there was no sign of an aircraft we could identify. DESCRIPTION: Bright red orbs emitting continuous mildly pulsating light. A well defined pale pinkish or white cylindrical shape, which did not pulsate, and was attached beneath the orb. On some of them the cylindrical shape was moving around, like a camera lens on a swivel mount. There was no sound. The "flock" of orbs moved similar to the parade of crows that flies North to South or South to North here--random, linear, fluid. These things had to be moving several hundred mph because it did not take them long to make the journey across the airspace. The sky was clear. Altitude was difficult to tell but had to be over 4000 ft. I went to get a video camera but the last of them disappeared behind the trees and did not emerge again. We have not seen or heard anything on the news about them--which is wierd.
