As reported

Unspecified over Windsor, MO

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

a perfect line of unevenly spaced reflections from the sun with no twinkling / very bright reflection for the altitude / i say altitude because at this time where the sun is in relation to the time it makes sense / all "went out" at same place losing the sunlight / then a few minutes later another one was heading same direction but a little more south and "went out" at an earlier point / I've seen a satellite burn up and this was not even close / MIND BLOWN / and since the question is raised of aircraft and animals the only aircraft i've seen for a while is military and dogs were barking some before , thru, and after

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #155880). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
