As reported

Triangle over Garrison, CO

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

At 4 am there was what we thought were helicopters in the sky flying from west to east. My husband and I watched a flight pattern of 3 helicopters (that I could actually see) one close to my back yard one over top of the hill and another one beside it. We watched until we could no longer see them. At around 5 am he was backing up, there was a large absolutely silent triangular shaped craft fly from East to West. The craft came up our hay field at an incredible speed and very close to the ground. There was a red light on one side green light on the opposite with a large bright white light in the center. As it came closer to the house, the craft started slowing down and turned on it’s side in a tilt, straightened out and we could see the underneath, it looked so big like we could just reach up and touch it. This lasted only seconds and then it took off over the hill in front of our house in the north. It seemed so close but it was high enough in the sky to clear the hill and all the trees. It moved so fast it was gone in seconds and was completely silent. The craft was so large that I am unable to put it into perspective of the enormous size.

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #157587). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
