The report, as filed
Not really sure if it was a single triangular craft. Saw three bright amber lights that appeared to be moving in unison. Two fairly close together, and the other much farther apart from the first two. Seen in the eastern sky. Could have been three individual planes, however the lights did not seem to be blinking, and the oddest thing to me was the solid amber color. Most planes I see are white lights with blue and or red blinking lights. After about 3 minutes they disappeared from view.

Outside stargazing to the north. Saw what appeared to be a star moving in the easterly direction at a speed that appeared to be a bit faster than a commercial aircraft. No big deal. However, then I noticed a second one following in the first. Then a third, and forth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth. All at the same speed and in what appeared to be exact spacing. The first began to fade away as it entered into a wispy, narrow cloud bank. It never appeared to emerge out the other side. Neither did any of the others. Rather strange.

My husband was taking out the trash when he called me outside. nHe pointed to the right, pointing towards the sky. nVery clear moon that night. We saw three triangle shaped crafts with a red light in the middle, and a white light on each end of the triangle. The craft stayed in a V formation but we’re flying to the side. Not up or down but left and right. I haven’t been able to forget about it since. nI have seen others post pictures of the exact same sightings, the same crafts, my husband and myself had seen.

Very windy today and i thought it could be a weather balloon that was illuminated from the inside. Been around avation all my life and i am a star gazer but i have never seen anything like this in my life. It really glowed bright orange. I ran in the house and had my daughter come out and witness it. I was shocked because it made no sound. I am experianced in avation but never seen anything like this. My only explaination is a balloon that was internally lite. It traveled the same direction as the wind was blowing. Very bright orange.
