Fireball over Arbutus, MD

The report, as filed

As I stood outside in the dark evening hours of the night in the parking lot facing East I saw a very large, bright green, slow descending fireball appear out of nowhere just on the other side of the trees across the street from where I was standing. It was so large that it appeared to be bigger than the size of the distant moon appears to be to the naked eye. It lasted for under 10 seconds and it was so close that I was sure that I would hear it crash nearby, but it did not make a sound as it soon disappeared on the horizon. Unfortunately, due to reasons unknown to me, I cannot recall the exact date and time or any immediate details surrounding the sighting. Just that I saw it. I also do not know why it has taken me this long to report it, for I have since inquired of many people if they saw it too to no avail. I do, however, remember that COVID-19 errupted very shortly after this event. I have also experienced a very significant, spiritual awareness boost, and was guided by, what seems to have been, subliminal thoughts to enhance my spiritual awakening journey which I developed a much stronger commitment to. I also have been a witness to several phenomenal events in the immediate area after seeing the fireball; such as distinct, picturesque cloud formations in the vicinity of where the firball descened from as well as sudden weather pattern changes which defied our local weather service announcements, on quite a regular basis. Again, I cannot recall the exact month or time but it was, indeed, near the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
