The report, as filed
My friend was driving me home when over the treeline to our right we saw what looked like a car's headlights. As we proceeded further, the lights moved to hover above the road. I thought it was a helicopter at first, but as we got closer I saw that the lights were too low; if it were a helicopter then I would have been able see the body of the craft. We were scared so we drove past the area as quickly as possible. When we passed under the lights I looked back but wasn't able to see them through the back window. There were two perfectly spherical lights the same color as the bluish headlights I've seen on some cars. All I could see were the lights, they didn't appear to be attached to anything, but they were hovering completely still above the road.
