My daughter and I were driving home on the highway . We had the river to our left and hills and homes to our right , right ahead of us was a huge plant for either paper or logging I assume ( in north west United States ) there were a hand full of cars infront , behind & aside of us as we were driving at highway speed (60mph) when a huge ( as wide as a 3 lane highway) black craft blocked out the night sky . It had a bright green glow on the left of the craft covering about a quarter of it on the bottom going up . Every car on the highway tapped on theyer brakes . I think we went from 60 mph to 30 mph quickly ) not abruptly but gently . I think everyone was stunned and didn’t understand what it was . My daughter and I were in mid conversation and my daughter being 11 at the time talked a lot so for her and I were silent for about 30 sec told me I didn’t even need to ask after it shot off in the blink of an eye . I think we stay silent for about 10 mins after ! . Just trying to process what we just seen . After 10 mins had passed and we were getting off the highway I called the non emergency line to report it . I wasn’t sure what to say so I was quick and blunt . I think I ended the message with “ just thought you guys would like to know, bye “ the next day I had my daughter draw a picture of what she seen . While it was obviously more dramatic , ultimately it had the same features I had seen (round, black & had a green tint to the bottom curve ) which told me I wasn’t crazy .
