I thought it was lightning. It light up the dark sky, and then I heard a crashing sound. When I went outside there was clear skies. I waited to see if more "lighting " would occur but nothing after 20 min. Checked weather no reports of thunder or lightning in the area.

Approx. 50 multicolored lights blinking , moving all the same direction in close proximaty together. Their blob change shape. They moved from west to south east. Moving slow. Appeared to be 30 thousand feet or higher.
