Triangle over Sugar Land, TX

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

Weather was clear with a very few clouds in the Early afternoon I was traveling North/NorthWest on University Bvld. towards the I69 overpass by the University of Houston Sugar Land Campus (FYI there is regional airport about 2 miles north) I witnessed 2 White in color objects flying together traveling East, the first one in my view i did not pay much attention too as i figured it was simply an airplane banking into the nearby airport and maybe the sunlight was catching it funny. I then saw a second one that looked to be flying relatively close in tandem and could distinctly make out that it was what looked to be a solid white Isosceles Triangle. I then tried focusing back on the first and unfortunately could still not confirm its shape. I lost site of the object when i decided to pay more attention to my driving, thusly i did not get a chance to take a picture, i can craft up and provide a map if necessary. My Father was a pilot and i have been around planes since i can remember, this was like no aircraft i have seen outside of science fiction.

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #147810). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

We were working out with a group of people outside and we all looked up and saw the unidentified objects above in a straight line above us going from north to south we were around the highway 6 and highway 59 area. We all saw it and couldn’t believe what we were looking at. It was a cluster of flying objects but in a straight line but in a weird way looked like it was together kind of like a snake of lights in the sky. All moving in formation.

I was walking my dogs near Constellation Field around 5:30 in the morning. It was dark outside and my dog when a series of strange events happened with possible missing time. I let my dogs off their leashes and we noticed a rabbit run directly into the stadium. my dogs were frozen as they noticed a husky like dog chase after it. My dogs took off after this dog, which caused me to frantically chase after them in full sprit. A next thing I know, my dogs are running towards me. I put them back on leashes and look to my left and notice a human figure and the dog walk under a bridge. As soon as the two pass my line of sight, out of breath, I look up and notice a ball of light hover above the bridge and shoot straight up silently. The ball of light had a tail of light behind as it went straight up. I had never seen anything like it before or any other ufo video to compare it too. The object would have been either close to or right above a chemical storage facility! called Nalco Champion. I recently saw an article that stated that less than one in ten sightings are reported, so I decided to report my sighting.

Once our attention was draw to the object it began to move faster and turned red. After about 40 seconds it disappeared quickly. It was not a firework nor an airplane. I recorded it on my phone.

Sugar Land, TX

Saturday Morning, 2:45am central time, Sugar Land Texas, just outside Houston TX. I had some work to do late, and had just finished when I decided I would go outside and see how the weather looked. There were low, broken clouds, moon partially obscured by the clouds. Clam winds. I saw what I thought was a life flight helicopter flying just above the tree line, but I noticed that the lights were solid red, no green, so as I continued to watch it, the light stopped. It made a quick vertical circle, stopped again, and then started to flicker, then changed from bright red to bright blue, and continued to flicker at a high rate of speed. There appeared to be 2 small white dots of light flickering in and out of the clouds near the red/blue light, but they would dart in and out of the clouds so quickly, it was hard to be sure. After the light hovered in the same spot for about 10 seconds, still flickering, still changing from red to blue and back, it changed to red and moved off slowly. The entire sequence of events lasted about 1 minute and 20 seconds. I ran back inside to get my phone to take a video, but I could not get the video to play on the phone. Kept giving an error code. I will download it tomorrow to see if it will play on my desktop. The lights were totally silent, no noise at all. I thought it might be a drone, but it was too high for it to be a toy, and because we live within 2 miles of the regional airport, drones are illegal. The most unusual thing was the brightness of the lights. There were a piercing shade of blue and red, extremely bright, and they didn’t blink, they flickered and although predominantly red, they changed to blue intermittently. The main light looked like a cluster of 3 lights stuck together, but they never flew independently or came apart. The lights traveled south west, basically over Towne West Subdivision north of Sugar Land, and went in the direction of the Sugar Land airport. Because it is a regional airport, there is rarely any traffic after 10pm at night, but there are 2 life flight helicopters that are stationed close by that make trips in the early morning hours, but you can hear them coming from a long way off. These lights were completely silent.
