Triangle over Seabrook, TX

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

On the evening of July 19, 2019, I saw an exceptionally bright object heading north of my location. At first, the brightness of the object obscured its form. Suddenly, the object made a SHARP right turn, and headed in the direction of my home. My neighborhood is quiet, with no neighbors outside to see the object. After about one-to-two minutes the aircraft was about 30 feet above my head. Out of curiosity I stood directly under the craft as it passed over my house. I could see that the craft was triangular, virtually SILENT, and had circular double rows of lights underneath each point of the triangle. I could also see a geometric configuration on what appeared to be a door (or hatch) in the center of the craft. Although I live only 2-3 miles from Johnson Space Center-Houston, I did not contact them, or anyone else. After hearing many reports about UFOs over the years, I came to realize that many sightings go unreported due to a negative stigma attached to those who try to report the sighting. I am submitting my report because I feel that the government, and citizens, need to take this situation seriously. These objects are definitely real!!

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #177464). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

Scene Summary: The object was viewed from the backyard of my residence located in Seabrook, Texas. The object appeared in the northern sky, approximately 45 degrees above the horizon. There were scattered Altocumulus clouds that appeared to be traveling from WNW to ESE. Temperatures were warm. The object appeared much like a comet - With a bright "head" and a "tail", with the head on the bottom, and the tail oriented at a 90 degree angle to the horizon. The object was pinkish orange. Details: My wife and I observed what appeared to be a fire in the sky for approximately 15 minutes. We observed the object for several seconds before it completely disappeared. It illuminated again a few seconds later, much brighter than before. The object remained stationary in the sky. After approximately 8 minutes, the object brightened again and appeared to elongate. While observing the object, I phoned my mother, who lives approximately a mile from my house. She went outside and also observed the object. After approximately 15 minutes, the object disappeared. My wife recorded approximately 14.5 minutes of very good video of the object. End Report.

On July 28th, 2015, at 7:57 pm EST, I witnessed 9-15 ufo's flying over Galveston Bay. I was going outside to get my dogs ready for a walk when I saw a bunch of orange-red lights swirling and dancing about 10 miles East from where my house sits, which would put them over Galveston Bay. I didn't know what i was looking at at first, thinking they might be small aircrafts, but more than I've ever seen in one place. When i tried to focus on them, all i could see was balls of light, no structure to speak of. I called my father out to watch them and ask him if he knew what they were. They didn't look like standard air craft, no red and blue signal lights and they seemed to make no sound. We watched them for 4 min, about 15 light globes in total, maybe more, and they moved around each other as if bouncing or bobbing. They headed south to north, and when they got about 30° north of due east, they disappeared, one at a time. They moved in clusters of 4 to 5, swirling and bobbing around each, but not smooth or precise. Almost drunkenly. After the main "swarm" disappeared, one more rose up and floated the same path, bopping and bouncing like the others and disappeared around the area as the rest. They moved more like living creatures than aircrafts, almost like giant orange fireflies. Total event was 4-5 min, from initial sighting to the disappearance of the final "straggler."
