These objects seem like floating stars, only larger & brighter. Prior to last night, I saw only one (in the east and southeast sky). It was there as long as I stood looking at it, each time I observed it. At first, it seemed like it could be a drone with a large bright light. However, numerous times it made quick movements up and down or side to side. It is unlike any aircraft, i.e. helicopter, jet, etc. going from point A to B. It just hovers in the same spot, like a balloon, but is unlike a balloon in that it makes those quick movements. Last night, I saw one in the southeast sky and, for the first time, one in the western sky. Prior to that, I saw the one in the east or southeast sky almost every night when the sky is clear before going to bed (around 10 pm) and on Wednesdays when going and returning from an obligation at 1:50 to 3:10 am. I was sitting on my patio around 8:30 pm facing west, twilight. A large circle of very bright light passed over my house. If you hold your thumbs and index fingers together and make a circle and hold them up, that was about the size, pretty large. It was moving east to west fairly fast. The house behind me have some large trees. It only took about 3 seconds from when I saw it until it went behind the trees. I ran to the back of the yard to try and see through the trees and beyond. It was gone. This was a round circle of very bright light. It wasn't fire, but did seem to be high energy. This circle of light / energy did not emit light and there was no sound from it. I live about 20 miles from O'Hare airport. we have planes that circle Elgin and start there decent to land. The altitude of this wasn't treetop, but I believe well below the altitude of planes we see which will land at the airport. Again, this only lasted about three seconds, but was incredible. My wife told me not to tell anyone, but I can't forget this. I'd like to know if there was anyone else had seen this and reported it to anyone. I'd like to stay anonymous other if someone would want to contact me.

Me and my son walked out of the house and Iooked up in the clear night sky to our amazement witnessed a UFO. We have power lines in front of our home, at first I thought it might be a glare from those power lines, not so. We walked to the middle of the steet past line power lines and veiwed a long silver,gray cylinder object flying high in the sky with no noice or lights. This object had to be at least five football fields long moving slow and then just slowly faded away like it never was there. The stange thing is it seem like the planes switched there fly pattern away from this object on there way to O'hare airport. We took a picture of it, you see the power lines to the left and the object to the right we forgot the flash was on the phone. [NUFORC annotation: Starlink - Possible]

I was biking home when I saw two stationary orange orbs in the sky. One was slightly higher than the other and to the right. I noticed they weren’t moving so I stopped and observed. They were very high as a plane flew past nearby and it was below them. As I was staring the one that was higher up suddenly faded out. I thought I saw a flash of light above me. I was underneath a broken street lamp so I was watching it, waiting for it to flicker again. It never did. Another flash of light caught my eye, this one was to the left. So the flashes of light corresponded with the position of orbs. When I looked back, the second orb was also gone.

I was at work and was told to go out and grab shopping carts. We had a storm coming and there were big dark clouds in the sky but it was still daylight out, so what I saw was clear. As I was grabbing a cart from the very back reaches of the parking lot, I looked up and saw in the sky a black sphere-like object in the distance. It wasn't moving up or down, further or closer it was completely still. And it was right by a rain cloud,so it couldn't have been a helicopter or plane. It was close enough where I could tell it was only a black object that was completely stationary. If it were anything else I was close enough to tell any details that would make it anything different. I stood and stared at it for a minute or two, but I was working so I couldn't watch it for any longer so I'm not sure if it disappeared or flew away. For all I know, it's still there. I doubt it, though I will make another report if I see it again soon. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD
