Took my dog out for his last night potty run about 10:45 pm tonight. I always look up at the stars at night as it was something Dad and I used to do when I was growing up. He was an engineer, designing early communication satellites, and I know quite a few of his designs are above us, circling the Earth. Dad taught me how to identify a planet as opposed to a star, and how to track the satellites when they go overhead. Tonight, I caught a glimpse of a flash of white light out of the corner of my eye traveling from the west to the east/southeast sky above the star Altair (used my Sky Guide app to figure its location), then dismissed it as I thought it was a light of an airplane high overhead. We are under the flight lines for our local airport and the nearby military base. I looked to the south and then back over where I saw the light and saw a smaller glimmer of it. Continued watching that area of the sky and it flashed again and again, somewhat in a predictive sequence about 2-3 seconds in between each flash and the duration of the flash was a fraction of a second which made it very hard to predict where it was going. When it flashed again, this time it was like a streamer flying in the wind with a 1-2 second duration and then it disappeared, only to quickly flash again a few more times before the light dimmed out of sight. I do not believe it is a UFO craft. I believe I saw a satellite which may have been knocked so it's spinning while in orbit and caught the sun reflecting off its solar panels (the flashing light) instead of a steady glow which moves in an arc across the night sky. The flashing light was still traveling as if it were following a satellite arc, that's how I could guess where to look when I realized it wasn't an airplane flying overhead. Just wondered if anyone else had seen the same thing tonight. Pretty interesting!

Walking my dog for the late night shift, I had my eyes on the night sky it was quite clear. Looking up at the stars, I witnessed a point of light (assuming a star) at the moment turn into a ball of different colors. I watched as it came down vertically from the sky and hover for just a brief moment before completely going behind the tree line closer to the ground. This object gave no trail of entering the atmosphere so I checked off it being a meteor or satellite entry, this object also did not break apart into different sections either however the object stopped in mid descent before going back to “falling”. No noise only three bright bursts of light within split seconds of each other (Green,Blue,Purple) again leaving no streak on the night sky or splitting apart. Freaked me out while I stood on the side of the road watching in awe and quite frankly fear. It was crazy, had my hair standing up on the back of my neck.

While taking my dog on usual morning walk, i stopped to observe a group of buzzards that had gathered in a large oak tree, as they did daily. While observing the birds, the bright white object appeared against the very blue sky. It moved from north to south at a high rate of speed for approximately 3-5 seconds. As I was trying to remove my phone from my pocket to take a picture/video, it abruptly stopped and disappeared. There were no lights, sounds, or anything else noticeable about the object.

I have always been drawn to the subject of ufology, and when I found out that my good friend Jeremy Bledsoe's father could offer some information, I overtime tried to find an opportunity where I could meet him in a comfortable setting where I could ask him questions. Jeremy was very willing to have me and my brother meet his father so we set up a time we could get together, get some pizza and then go golfing. Chris was very open and down to earth when it came to discussing his experience and ufology in general. The time spent with him that day golfing with him, his son, and my brother was more than pleasant. While golfing, Christopher said something along the lines of "Well, why don't you come around the house tonight around 6:30 if y'all want to see something." As the three of us pulled into the property, Chris was waiting for us with his eyes to the sky calling us to come look. **What we saw**: A bright light in an orb shape permeating the night's sky. The orbs' light looked as if it was an animated version of an unstable molecule. The orb was present for a full two minutes or so it did a spiral descent above the cabin and then disappeared. The orb made no noise whatsoever.

I am a 41 year old, retired Army Intelligence Officer with 21 years of active duty service living in Fayetteville, NC. I was on my porch at 11:22 pm Christmas Eve when I looked up as a small flash of light caught my attention. A distant, white light flew from east to west at incredible speed creating a light trail behind it. The light then stopped instantly and paused for half a second at high altitude before accelerating westward and seemingly upward into space creating another light trail behind it as it vanished. There was no sound from the object and the entire event occured in perhaps two seconds within a relatively small area in the visible sky. To me, it looked as though "something" had simply dropped in for a quick look before taking off at or near light speed.

My wife was in the backyard and looked up saw a red light in the center of a circular saucer shape object above our house moving from North west moving south east. I looked out window and it was gone.

My husband and I were at a red light on Owen Dr. in Fayetteville, NC awaiting to turn left onto 301. We both witnessed several lights appear in the night sky at once. Strangely, the lights were moving left to right, down then up, as well as disappear then randomly reappear in strange formations. At times they would stop and stay in place and then suddenly move into perfect lines/shapes/etc. No sound accompanied the lights and total were visually consistent for around 7 minutes. Then all together they disappeared. Definitely not an aircraft although we did see an aircraft after the fact with searching lights and moving super slow and appeared to be in search.
