The report, as filed

Flashes of bright white lights from the sky, shot straight down in succession three times, about (roughly) 3-4 minutes apart, each time. Much wider in width than lightning and lasted longer than lightning. Like flashes of a wide dome of light is the only way to describe this. With no clear beginning/place of origin. Radiant light.

What would the paper say?

Mystic Island, NJ

This has become a regular occurrence over the Mystic Island section of Little Egg Harbor Township. Almost every night there are either small circular objects extremely far away moving across the sky or there will be multiple circular objects anywhere between 3-8 objects standing still. There are also on occasion such as last night a bright red object that moves in short bursts sort of like a zig zag motion and is almost always in the same location. Although we are close to Atlantic City Airport and do have military air traffic, these are not ANYTHING of the sort. It would be extremely interesting to have this filmed with a good camera. These objects are so far away and move so quickly I can't catch them with my cell phone. Also, these are not shooting stars as they do not burn out and move in ways planes can't move.
