The report, as filed
Some friends and I were having dinner in New River next to the freeway and one friend said she had just seen a blimp holding still outside the restaurant; a string of lights. I asked her if she could see an outline or other detail since it was an odd time for a blimp to be flying out in the desert. She then pointed it out to me and I saw a string of 7-10 or more tiny lights in a straight line. It appeared to be sitting on top of a mountain to the east. If it were a building of that size it would be very out of place in the rural desert as the row of lights made it look like a huge building. I made an effort to look for it in the morning to see if there was a huge house or other structure on the mountain but there was not. I would have taken a photo but all I had was my crummy phone and it doesn't take good pix at night.

Craft was sighted inbound to PHX on the Jet Arrival route from the NW. This route passes directly over my home. It was a bit brighter than the other arrivals but other wise appeared identical to the Boeing's. I am forced to include airbus. This flying machine came to an instant full stop approximately 2 miles from my position to the NW and an estimated 10,000 feet vertically. At that point the entire ship began to flash. All of this rig flashed as a white light, much larger than it's appearance when inbound on the Jet Arrival Route. This continued for approximately 2 minutes. The light then extinguished. The craft was seen no more. Background was an overcast stratus layer. Location: N33 87 3940 W112 045 3050 + - 2 miles There is so much UFO activity here it is becoming boring.

I just saw 2-3 looked like stars, not a plane, in the west sky. The one top left "joined" the one bottom right. Top left one was orange/red, bottom right was white. Looked like a haze or object in the center, more like a haze Til I ran for my phone to take a picture they were gone Never saw anything like that in my life I've been seeing the large bright "star" in the SW when no other are visible but this tonight really shocked me I've never reported anything like this in my life It really was something I've never seen before I think military base to the west but not sure This was NOT a flare I'm still thinking about what I saw!

We were driving down road when I noticed what I thought were 5 airplanes flying really close together I told my wife look at that these planes are going to crash into each other , that's when I realized planes don't glow a constant bright blue and they started zig zagging back and forth. My wife said she was just looking at those same lights and thought it was the little dipper, so we pulled over and watched them with another person that was standing outside their house for a couple of minutes and they eventually flew off in different directions until we could not see them anymore.

New River, Arizona. Yesterday afternoon I kept hearing what sounded like a small aircraft flying above our house. It sounded strange, so I went outside to take a look. What I saw was a triangular craft with a long forward fuselage and what looked like canards at the forward end of the craft. I would estimate the size to be about that of a Lear jet. I grabbed my camera and snapped several pics before it disappeared in the distance, only to return a few minutes later and I was able to take a few more shots of it before it headed towards a cloud in the distance and vanished. The enlarged the photos to get a better idea of what the craft looked like, and was surprised to see that it had no visible propellors or jet engines. The strange thing about the sound it made was that it seemed so artificial, like a recording. The sound also seemed to trail the craft by several hundred feet and the aircraft was not moving any faster than a typical single-engine airplane.

Large spherical object moving westward changing colors and patterns of lights on it. Video is zoomed 16x on my Nikon camera. We spoke briefly via telephone with the witness, and he confirms that the date is correct, but he corrects the time, to reflect a sighting that occurred 50 minutes past midnight. Detailed report to follow in the morning. Pictures are not good, but do show that these objects are far brighter than any other stars or planets. Rest of the sky is moving west while these remain stationary. Appears to be two amber lights with one red light. Seem to be turning as the red light is not always visible. We watch the sky often after the experience on March 13, 1997. I looked up and instantly recognized these as non-star/planet & possible UFO. Object nearly directly overhead emitted flash of light initially...sky was not completely dark at that time at altitude. Estimate these to be high or very high objects, unable to estimate their flight level. One airplane did seem to fly between the most east and most north object and turn while doing so but I can't be sure. These do closely resemble planets, but are much brighter, have two amber lights and the single red one. I'm going back out now to observe, time is 22:47. Will submit photo and drawing by mail. End of initial report. ((ADDENDUM FROM ORIGINAL WITNESS)) Hi Peter… I am ready to dismiss the sighting I had of the 3 barbell shaped UFO’s as atmospherics. Well, almost ready. As promised I was ready for the next nights event. If the objects re-appeared I would accept them as planets. And so it was with much anticipation that I took a chair amongst the cactus to examine the evening sky. The time was 2025. Oh the disappointment! For there they soon appeared in nearly the same place and in the same triangular formation. Oh well, I’m not the first to be duped by atmospherics. But wait? These look just like two planets and one star? These 3 are no where near as brite as on the previous night, and there is no red “navigation” light attached? What gives here? I must also report that my Mac went to a black screen immediately following my report on your web site. It took 3 days and 5 tech’s at Apple to solve the problem. “I’ve never seen this before, What’s this? This isn’t right…” Those and other comments from Apple while trying to restore the computer. Naw, must have just been planets and atmospherics. Unless someone was hiding in plain site. And I will admit that that is a stretch. Advise if you would still like the drawings & photo's to follow.
