Rectangle over Bonneylake, WA

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

We got out to look at them then they started to move real slow. Told driver to try and take pictures. She didn’t get any; they were to much in awe in watching them. I did get a couple of pictures but had hard time getting seat belt off. To get the best picture the crafts flew right over our car when trying to take pictures of it going over car phone wouldn’t take some. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) I already wrote you and realized I accidentally put rectangular when I meant triangle and boomerang shape sorry to write too many times to you asked my daughter to to write don’t know if she is thanks. ((END ADDENDUM))

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #144473). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
