The report, as filed
They were flying somewhat in formation, but the 2 lower spheres were bounding each other. One would speed up fast then come back, then the one below it would do the same. This formation was only 500-600 feet from the ground. With perfect clear skies there was no mistaking these for something else, plus the speed at which the lower 2 spheres were bounding. Once flown over the tree line and out of sight we waited to hear some sort of engine sound or wind shear....no sound followed!
