The report, as filed
Oct 10, 2018. A large orange fireball appeared about 12 miles off the coast of marina del rey. Time was 9pm to 11pm. From the video, the fireball appears to be about 200 feet above the ocean, based from the reflection onto the ocean. The event was recorded with a 4K 60 fps and with a 320 optical zoom. This video was posted on ‘’you tube’’ at Bci1eyNKggw. I live at the beach. This was the first fireball I have seen in 25 years.

11/7/15, 6:15 pm Marina del Rey We saw a bright white light shining in a 90 degree arc into a white cloud. We thought it was an airplane headed to LAX flying through fog. But there was no fog, and then a turquoise blue tube of light shot out and hovered over the marina. The white cloud became transparent and began to mist down to earth. The white light faded back and looked like 3 small vertical white lights surrounded by a white mist. The blue tube shaped light stayed in the air for 5 minutes gradually changing into an indistinct saucer shape. I took a photo which only showed the white cloud at a distance, but with lots of orbs in the foreground. I'm a registered nurse, my husband and my sister (all in our 50's) all witnessed this. U. S. We were looking toward the southwest when an object came flying upward and had a tail. We thought it was fireworks. It was moving too slowly and deliberately to be a shooting star. It was orang in color. A few moments after we noticed it, a red ball came off the end and eventually disappeared. The orange triangular shaped object eventually had its tail dissipate and moved progressively higher into the sky where it ballooned a bright light out of itself that created an aura that looked hazy and had a blue trail the triangular orange object continued to move through the sky while the hazy orb expanded into the sky. My boyfriend and I were leaving Ralph's in Marina del Rey around 6:40pm tonight, when we noticed a bright green glowing light in the southern part of the sky. It was just a tiny bit larger than a star. The object was green in color and the light faint, almost transparent yet very visible. We suspected it was a helicopter or a drone, but due to the transparent green glow of the light there was no way it was a helicopter. We're not sure if what we saw was extraterrestrial in origin, but if was for sure an unidentified flying object. The sighting lasted just under a minute while we were stuck at a traffic light. The entire time the object seemed to be moving back and forth in the sky, but not like a helicopter would move. It proceeded to change it's color to bright red then zip away in a straight line. It went behind a building as our car began to move. We passed the building after we proceeded through the intersection and we couldn't see it anymore. It vanished out of sight.

Within 3-5 minutes, each would simply disappear. At first we thought there were clouds but we could see stars in the background of the same part of the sky. Their general motion would fit that of very large balloons yet were faster in their motion than balloons. They were not at all like flares and the general makeup of the lights seemed like each had a brighter center and vertical and horizontal refraction. There is no doubt that we all saw these lights and we recorded videos on our phones. LAX with planes taking off were clearly between the lights and our position.
