When I called my husband, he said landing lights on planes are really bright. I don't know why a plane would have had on its landing lights in the middle of nowhere; but, I didn't question him...until I got closer to work and saw a couple of small planes (airport is in the area) and realized they had flashing red lights on them. The object I saw had no other lights, just the bright white one(s).
