The report, as filed
It is circular in shape with 4 shoots dangling out almost the shape of an abstract human like in hang man. The color is an orangish yellow and it has been hanging in the sky(unmoving) for at least 15 minutes. There is a red light at the base and every once in awhile it blinks. We know it is not a star as they are more white and much higher up. I checked fb and other new sources but no one has mentioned it. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

I pulled into the driveway after dropping my Grandson off at home. Exiting the car, I noticed an unusual purple light through a hole in the clouds. My first thought was to get my wife and have her look, but then I decided a picture first might be a better idea. After I took the picture, I went in to get her; it was gone before she could look. The color seems to be lit from the inside or from behind. By the time I could get my phone out, the clouds had covered a substantial area that was previously exposed through the hole in the clouds. I don't think it was a light from the ground because the clouds would reflect it. the lighted object seemed to be in the cloud. I thought it was interesting and unusual enough to submit it.

Observed for several minutes. Looked away then could never find again. Way too bright for star or planet. Was not yet sunset. Steady light maintaining steady position. Looked for it until Longview

On the evening of April 26, 2018, I was in our backyard, when I saw a airplane heading North from the Portland area when I noticed another object traveling at the same speed but was much smaller and trailing the aircraft. The smaller object had no visible angles or lines like the larger aircraft had and seemed strange to me since if it were a smaller plane it would have had some distinctive lines to the shape. I video taped it with my phone and when the video starts you can enlarge the picture to see this object which appears to be round in the video and not like a smaller plane.

I just came out to look at the stars. I saw a flashing red light with another light behind it, which looked like it was over Vancuver. As the set of light came closer between Ridgefield and battleground area. As it came to the East of me, the lights spores to have the red light in front of a blinking white lights, I started to hear a humming but rough sound. I tried to video tape it a a few still shots with my phone, but as I shot the photos, could not see anything on my screen. Then the lights went NE.
