Other over Pasadena, TX

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

I was watching the fireworks with my 6 year old son. I looked away from the fireworks and up at the stars around me. Suddenly one of the stars started moving at a odd angle and a fast rate of speed. After about 2 minutes the object dimmed out and I saw a dark orange flash around the area it dimmed. After that i could not find it in the sky anymore. I noticed after it disappeared that there was a airplane following the path that the object took. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #142062). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
