The report, as filed
My friend and I were walking back to our apartment on the Simon's Rock campus at about 1:30 am, when we noticed that what we thought was an unusually bright star to the southeast was moving. We assumed it was a plane, so we stopped to look at the sky, and the light went out. When it came back, it was dilating and continued to move. We thought it was funny, so we kept watching it, and it started to change and move in the opposite direction. It went sideways and hovered in place, which was when we became pretty certain that it wasn't a plane or a satellite. Two other people walked up to us and confirmed that the light was moving weirdly... All four of proceeded to stand in place, looking at the light, and during this time, it mostly stayed stationary, but started blinking erratically, growing larger and smaller. At one point, it started to move again, and then stopped several feet higher than it had been. The blinking could've been clouds, and sometimes clouds did pass over, but we could tell that it wasn't a star, because the other stars around it became dimmer under cloud cover, except for the light. My friend and I watched it for awhile, but then decided to go to bed.

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. A clear and silent sunset night, no stars just planets seen. I went up to Blue Hill because it has a good view of the sky. I took a picture of the 2 planets that were very close to each other then, and there was also a crescent moon. I started to drive off when I noticed a very bright light. We are in the landing path for Bradley Airport, so I just thought it was a plane on it’s descending pattern. As I drove Down the hill I kept my eye on the light through the trees. About 3/4 of a mile down, I realized that the object just flew over me and the road, going from North to South. I stopped the car, rolled down my window and turned the car off so I could get a good look at it. I then saw why it was so bright with those big lights on the bottom, just a very white light. I then observed the triangular shape, with a small point of light on each corner. A moment after that I notice it was flying in the opposite direction form South to North. It was flying my way, kind of towards me And I realized it was totally silent, and it was flying very slowly, maybe 20 mph. It seemed to be about 100 feet above the tree tops. Everything went through my mind then as to why it was flying towards me and what or who was it. I had my camera ready to take a picture but got scared and decide to drive off down the road. I drove to Great Barrington and looked back and saw a bright light flying slowly towards Stockbridge. And that as it. It almost seemed like a personal interaction with me. I was astonished and amazed at the sighting of this, and it was beautiful until I got scared.

I was lying in bed at 1am when I saw what looked like a reflection of two street lights on my window. I kept looking closer because I had never seen these lights from my window before, despite the fact I’ve looked out this window for 25 years of my life. I didn’t want to pay too much attention, but after looking at it for ten minutes and looking through several different windows to make sure it wasn’t something on my glass pane, I realized it was a flying object. My windows were kind of foggy but it looked like a giant metal Platform in the sky with two huge lights which slightly Illuminated it I’m the night sky. What shook me was how it stayed perfectly still mid air hovering in the sky. Even though this was obviously a massive space craft, it did not show any effects of gravity in the sky. It stayed hovering at a couple hundred feet from 1am-4am. When I looked again at 6am, the spacecraft was gone. It might sound stupid, but I didn’t take a picture because I thought it might attract unwanted attention from whatever was up there at the moment.

Once the light went out, I went into the patch of trees to investigate and had the overwhelming feeling that I was being watched from all directions. I ended up losing 3 minutes (I checked my watch several times because I needed to make curfew). The next morning I woke up with a bleeding hole in my neck, as if I'd been bitten by a horsefly, and it was painful to touch. We have e-mailed a request to the witness, requesting that she have the wound on her neck photographed. PD
