The object would speed up at a very fast rate and zig zag slow down and come to a complete stop. Then looked like multiple very dim white lights getting pulled to the object like it was a magnet. For some reason, witness indicates that the date above is approximate. PD

Driving east between Mason City and Clear Lake. An unusual reflection flashed through the car - stopped and saw sun reflecting off a metalic oblong shaped cylinder that was verticle in the sky. It appeared stationary - not like any type of aircraft or air balloon. Watched for 10-15 minutes and took some photos. Reported to police station but nobody really seem to know what it was. That was actually about two years ago and hadn't thought much more about it until recent news showed the metalic balloons entering US air space. This object looked very similar to those news photos - not really sure what to do so called our state office and they told me to report here. I have uploaded photos.

It started off looking like a shooting star, but it went more green and turned into a disk shape and zipped off into the distance.
