After crossing to the west side of I-15 the object changed direction to approach 6 or 7 military craft flying wingtip to wingtip toward the north. The object seemed to be approaching at such a speed that I felt sure it was going to crash into the military aircraft on the eastern end of the formation, but it came to a sudden stop as it got very close and continued to keep pace with the line of jets traveling north for a few seconds. It detached itself from the jets then approached more overhead toward Beaver, Utah when it entered a sparse cloud that was a little larger than the craft where it stopped then merely quickly vanished. The cloud wasn't affected by the vanishing of the object. The next day there was a lot of military aircraft forming a dome over Beaver County of various types of craft. This lasted for about two weeks during daylight hours, and I had the impression they were interested in trying to find information on the vanishing of strange craft of the day before. When I first saw the craft I remember thinking, "That thing has no wings." Thus was my surprise at first seeing the object. I also recall thinking there would surely be plenty of news about such an object as Beaver is a small town of about 3,000 population.
