The report, as filed
My uncle and I were driving to leave St. Louis to go fishing, when we saw what looked like a grayish bluish shape, traveling extremely fast above us on the horizon. It was traveling at least 5 to 10 times faster than any chat can travel. It appeared in front of us for only a couple seconds before disappearing. It was very low on the horizon and quite close. It couldn't have been a "shooting star" as it was much much too close to the ground. But it clearly was not an airplane. Neither of us have any idea what it was.
