Unspecified over Nashville, TN
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
A sound best characterized as a blend of flying insect, and electrical buzz permeated the room and was perceived to be moving in front of me, around the room. The amplitude was not soft but quite discernible. The sound then localized at a wall mirror on the left side of the TV stand. The mirror began to move on the two nails that served as its anchor point. The sound stopped as the mirror kept moving. My subjective sense tells me that possibly, this was a directed intelligently controlled event. An examination of the wall behind the mirror revealed nothing. No bug found, no sound. I had the sense to video with my cell phone, but the camera app kept switching off to home screen. Nevertheless I have some footage. I live near the airport in Nashville and am wondering if any unusual aerial or meteorological phenomena occurred.
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #134003). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

I was looking at clouds when I noticed a stationary object in the Western sky. It was dull metallic in color and made no sound. It was disk shaped with the exception of a half sphere attached to the bottom of the object. I'm guessing that it was 500 to 800ft in altitude. I took a picture using my cellphone camera. After I took the picture I checked it and when I looked at the sky again the object was gone. The entire sighting lasted about 25 seconds.

i observed what i thought was an asteroid or meteor falling to earth in donelson, tn near the bna airport. the closer it came to impact i braced for an expected load sonic boom seeing as in relation to the two aircraft that were landing at bna airport at the time dwarfed in comparision of this thing. then it pause and three triangle shaped bright lights two green and one white came on and it changed its direction at a 90 degree andgle and had a green smoke trail and dissapeared shortly out of the atmosphere, truley unlike any thing that ive ever witnessed in my entire life.

On Sunday, April 16, 2023, around 12 p.m., I was outside my house in Old Hickory TN when I noticed a bright stationary light in the sky. It was very high and did not move. It was not a plane, a star, or a satellite. It was reflecting light or beaming light at odd intervals. Its shape seemed to be oval or like a figure eight. My wife also saw it with me. I tried to take a picture of it with my phone, but I couldn't zoom in far enough to get a clear image. It stayed in the sky for about 15 minutes and then disappeared.
