The report, as filed
Flashing light again seen observed from back of home. Light darting behind garage, some 25 feet from my vantage point. I remained observant. After making several appearances above roof of garage, light appeared to rest on metal roof of garage where it remained 3-4 minutes. Light suddenly ascended into sky vertically. It was at this moment I detected a rain drop on my arm. Rain ensued. This is the 4th day out of five that these lights have been in this area. I failed to mention in report of 4-11-17 that the lights blink intermittently, without a particular rhythm. When object rested on garage roof it appeared to be very small, as in less than 3 inches wide as an overhead security light illuminated the area. It is cool outside, way too early for fireflies.

Blinking lights, 7 or 8, bright green in color and of moderate intensity seen beginning at dark, in forest, at tree line and in my back yard. (This is a forested area.) Slightly cool evening, 63°f,no precipitation, 31% humidity. Lights observed flying at various heights and when moving, parallel to ground. Please note this is the 5th consecutive year I have seen these lights, they come in Mid April and have been seen multiple times before "leaving" in June. I have made several reports w/ NUFORC over these years. No noise from lights and I can't see more of them to report a better description.

Various (many) sightings over the past month of multiple lights at night in forest behind home, flying in yard, over house. Third year in a row, starting usually around 10th of Apr lasting maybe 3 wks, multiple lights weaving in & out of trees in forest. The lights react to noise, speech. They will come close to humans. The lights are usually white/yellow in color but at times are lime green, sometimes red. When rain appears the lights will rapidly ascend to disappear in sky. I have not noticed any sounds coming from the objects. I am not the only witness on my property. Also, a neighbor with no prior knowledge of my sighting these lights told me of his very similar experience in a nearby farm home he is renovating. This is a heavily forested area, a ntl forest. The objects appear brown/gray in color and seem to be the size of a computer mouse or smaller but when passing by my security light do so hastily as if not wanting to be seen for more than their light! . I believe this is worthy of a closer look as the lights are not shy. I have not seen propellers, antennae or any other protrudence from The lights. The lights maneuver with incredible agility amongst the trees and appear to be curious about people. A neighbor claims knowledge of a downed craft/object as reported by a third party. Also I have video but not of good quality.

Observed large white light in sky approx 4 miles up with smoke trail following; observed what appeared to be a separate light directly above it some 500 ft higher of a slight orange color. Both traveling at same speed in same direction, coming from S E headed N E. Cloudless sky. After 3 min of watching, orange light disappeared, 5 sec later, white lit object disappeared as did the smoke trail. Disappeared as in an unusual way, not behind a cloud.

Friend & myself on back deck witnessed flashing lights in forest. At first one light soon followed by others, totaling five distinct flashing lights. They tended to stay high in the trees, maybe sixty feet from ground. Sometimes the lights appeared white, sometimes green, sometimes orange. We watched until we had to go inside. I went back out 15 minutes later, lights were gone.

On deck of home, facing forest adjacent to yard, witnessed a single round light moving in and out of tree line. Light tended to keep a horizontal path as it moved about until it left site suddenly. Light was white when it faced witness directly. When light was at an angle from witness' face, light appeared to have edges of at times green or orange color. Light appeared to react to witness trying to get a better look by moving toward witness. Light appeared to be 3-5 inches in diameter, kept height of 35-40 feet, moved quickly with ease amongst dense forest. Light was observed two separate occasions within two hours, initial sighting 2325hours, 11 Apr 2017. Second sighting location was between two other trees. During second sighting witness observed light did not appear to want to stray far from its location. Same witness observed same types of light in same trees over a week period in April of 2016. No noises, animals very quiet in area.

The two lights were moving in a frenzied manner this time coming closer than last night. I quickly came inside with my dog. Last I saw, the objects were flying in my back yard as if looking for something. I can not find my cat at this time. He was on roof of garage as this was happening. An orb had come close to him. I live surrounded by the Daniel Boone Ntl Forest.
