The report, as filed
Craft was not metallic, but looked white, with what appeared to be black accents. No windows were visible. The craft seemed to be at the altitude that general aviation aircraft fly. It had no wings, horizontal or vertical stabilizers. It maintained a straight line motion (no turns) from a south direction towards the north. We could not determine the speed of the aircraft. We were driving north on Hiatus Road and the craft was to the west/southwest of our car. By the time we cleared some trees that temporarily blocked our view, the craft had disappeared. The weather was clear, bright sunny day.

I was taking a picture of the moon with my iPhone 7 plus, while sitting in my backyard. At the same moment I pressed the button to snap a pic of the moon, I witnessed a light that zipped across the sky at ridiculous speeds into the area of my camera view. It seemed as though the object zipped into view of the picture just in time to be seen in the photo. When I take pics of moving objects, they always come out blurry. With this object, it's just not the same case. This capture is purely accidental on my part. I did not see anything sitting there for enough time to snap a shot of it. The only evidence I have is the sight of a light moving faster than known flying speeds into my view of the camera and the authentic photo which is original and unaltered. There was no noise from the object and it disappeared as fast as it appeared once picture was taken. This is the absolute first sighting I have ever had. I'm looking forward to someone enhancing the background to show a definitive shape or structure that is difficult to see in its entirety.

While letting the dog out I looked up at the sky to see a hazy orange ball of light in the sky. It was silent & moving from North to South. It was not high up in the sky-I'd say maybe 2000'. It was South of the West to East flight path for Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood airport. To the North of the flight path there was a small, white ball of light that seemed to be hovering. By the time we found the binoculars it was either gone or went behind a cloud. It seemed to fade away! Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD
