A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
I was having a smoke on my deck and watching the Northern lights and look above me when I notice this green beam going from S.E to N.W. In this beam were 3 green v objects flying in formation with 3 more behind it continuesly for 20 minutes at very high speed and then stopped. The green originated above some clouds to southeast and faded into the Northern lights to the northwest. The length of the beam if I were to use my hands for reference would be about 2 feet long. I don't know what distance that would be in space. I tried previously to capture video of northern lights with cell phone and the video was too dark to see anything. So it was pointless wish I had a video camera that night. Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #134324). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?
Canadian military and radar records answer to the Access to Information Act; historic UFO files are held by Library and Archives Canada. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

I am wondering if anyone else saw a unidentified floating object above the Calmar AB area at 7:00 to 7:10 PM Oct 1/19 For at least ten minutes I observed a Bright light slowly ascending directly upward. It did not dim and it did not move East to West or North to South, just straight up. It was below the lite clouds at the time, then it started passing upward through the cloud fading a bit, then it just vanished.
