Flash over Albuquerque, NM
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
A triangular air craft was sighted in the South sky on I-25 between the Alameda and Jefferson exits. It stayed stationary and was shadowed as the sun light was bright. As I stared at the craft to determine what it was, there was a bright blinding flash that came from the craft and shone for about 15 seconds. It flashed the blinding light a second time for another 10 to 15 seconds. I tried to determine what it was and what was the source of the blinding reflection or flash of light but then it suddenly disappeared. It seemed to pixelate away in a matter of a few seconds. I tried hard to find where it could have gone but it had disappeared. Here are the facts: it was a clear and sunny day with a blue sky. I was in heavy congested traffic. I was driving south and traffic was stop and go. I am certain that others had to of seen this triangular object. It was lower in the atmosphere as a plane would be that was close to a landing strip. This was definitely not an airplane or other known aircraft. The flash was not a light but more of a blinding reflection as if someone had a mirror and was deflecting sun light into my eyes from the craft. What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

Was watering plants in back yard saw light above/south in the sky moving east from the west. Did not look like any plane or military aircraft. Had no noise. Called a friend outside to take a look at it with me. He did not know what it was. I went inside and grabbed my bird watching binoculars and looked at it some more. It had no shape just a round light but on the back of it there was a stick like protrusion at a 45 degree angel. It looked like a folded up umbrella or a parachute that failed to inflate. The protrusion seemed very rigid and did not change shape. It was headed SE over KAFB or four hills and I saw it emit a spray in a round shape like a smoke ring. In a slightly down ward angle. The spray/emission was much bigger then the light that produced it. I then proceeded to access my roof (took one min)to get a better view and it was gone. [NUFORC annotation: Rocket - Probable]

Decided while on vacation to go back up the mountains at Arches National Park, to star gaze. I have a video, but don't know how to upload it here.

Me and my fiancé decided to walk to the gas station for some late night snacks and as we were walking, I had noticed something strange in the clouds. We both looked up and started to pay attention and as we were looking at it, we noticed that it wouldn’t come out from behind the clouds and no matter what formation the clouds would move to, the light would follow it. It was literally just going around and around above us but we could easily tell it was a spotlight nor was it a drone because it was way too high up there. I’ve never seen anything like that before. It was moving so fast that it was hard to keep up with honestly until you saw it coming towards you again.

I work grave yard shifts. I went outside to take a break. I noticed what I first assumed was one of those advertising spotlights off to the west of me. The light made a half circle, stopped for about 5 seconds, then returned back to it's starting point, where it stopped again for 5 seconds . It traced a half circle once again stopped for another 5 seconds then moved off in a southeast direction until it disappeared from sight. After about 20 seconds I looked over my right shoulder and saw that it was back behind my right shoulder. It was back behind me long enough for me to grab my phone and set the camera to video mode. It began moving northwest until it came back to the original spot where I first noticed it. During the time I was observing it, it made no sound. The object began to move back in a southeasterly direction again while I "filmed" it. It continued in that direction until it was no longer visible and did not return. Of course when I checked the video there was nothing recorded, so either I did not start the video correctly or my phone malfunctioned.

While walking my dogs late Thursday night, the sky was clear as usual. I normally look for certain constellations during these late night walks. I noticed that Mars was extremely brighter/closer as usual. Then I noticed the star changed its color to green. The color alternated from red to green then started to drop from the sky, descending completely vertically until I could no longer view it from behind a home (street level). The drop was rapid in a straight line which seemed impossible for a jet to accomplish unless it was in a nose dive crash. I pulled out my cellular phone and recorded the descent.
