My hiking partner and I found a strange orange ball of light in seven hiking photos (two different cameras) after we returned from a hike on Cutthroat Lake Trail in the North Cascades off Hwy. 20 on Saturday, 10/22/16. We did not witness this with our own eyes, but captured it with photographs. We were in a very remote area on a trail in 2 feet of snow at 5k feet elevation.
