The report, as filed
I was letting out my dog and noticed something that looked like a big and very bright star hovering over a vacant house across the street. As I was watching it and walking closer to the end of my driveway, it dimmed the light and started to slowly move until I could not longer see it. There was no sound. Again, I saw the same thing on 10/6/2016 around 11:00 pm when letting my dog out. Hovering over the same vacant house and it did the same exact thing as the first time I had seen it. This was an unusual sighting because all military flying has been cancelled today and tomorrow for ice and the airspace is not even open for military aircraft until 0800 in the morning. I work in a flying squadron and I am familiar with the airspace time and what's going with the airspace for the week. This green orb made a swooping motion like a diving bird, not a jet and maneuvered back up and disappeared. F-35's are stealth craft and not flying, the F-16's are not flying here either, the KC-135 cannot maneuver that quickly and it was at a distance I would not be able to see a helicopter from the Army base. I have been in the aviation world for 15 years and I have never seen anything like I saw this morning.

Around 04:30 while out on patrol I took a break and was doing some stargazing using the binoculars we carry in our patrol vehicles. I was watching one star in particular and noticed on the corner of my lens that there was something moving left to the right way out. I looked up from the binoculars to see if it was a plane that I could see with the naked eye and I could not. i looked back into my binoculars and kept following it for about five or six minutes another minute goes by and the object stops I try to focus in on it more but its so far out that i cannot see any full detail on what it could really be i get on my phone and check the twenty four hour plane radar to see if there is any planes going up to the slope or coming back i see none at all on my phone. i look back at the object for another two minutes, its sits there a second or two longer then starts flying back the way it came after about one minute the object just flat out disappears. The object was about one quarter the size of the star i was watching before i spotted it. It also emitted a rather bright light, traveled very fast and had a light haze to it.

My friend and I were driving home from Fairbanks, when I spotted an odd light in the sky. I pointed it out to my friend and she saw it too. I kept an eye on it while we went down the highway and as we got closer, I saw that it was rather large. It was dark out but it looked silver or a dark gray. It had a large white light on the bottom and a few flashing blue and red lights around the corners. It was hovering at around cloud level and wasn't moving or making a sound. As we pulled onto another road, I looked up again and it was gone. It had completely vanished without sound or anything, it was nowhere in sight. And as we approached my house, her car started to make some very odd sounds and started acting up, although it had just been fixed up in the past week. ((ADDENDUM #1 FROM WITNESS)) My friend and I were around the 12 mile bar at the time when I saw the light. When we pulled off the highway onto Hurst road, it was completely gone. I'll definitely have to think about finding other people who saw it, however it was very late but there were a few cars still out. ((END ADDENDUM)) ((ADDENDUM #2 FROM WITNESS)) ...As far as more detailing goes, the object was about the size of a B-2 stealth bomber, but a little more pointy in the front. There was a large and bright white light in the middle of the triangle and some smaller white lights on the corners. There was a blue blinking light near the tip of the triangle and it was not moving. I stared at it as we drove and I wanted to see if it was just a plane. As we passed it, I saw it was cloud level and just silently hovering. I looked down at my phone to start to search for images of triangular UFOs and when I looked back, it had vanished. When I looked around on the horizon and though the trees, no lights were in sight besides the stars and the moon. It had just disappeared out of thin air. ((END ADDENDUM #2))
