Comment on Web Report 127/S127760.html I live close to this reporting site in Quaker Hill, CT, am not associated in any way with the reporter nor did I witness the sighting. I have no knowledge of, or opinions about, the authenticity of this report. What was not mentioned in the report was that Quaker Hill, CT, is directly across the Thames River, less than ½ mile from, the US Naval Submarine Base in Groton, CT, and just a few miles from the General Dynamics, Electric Boat Co. where most such submarines are built. I would hope that the US Navy and/or the National Security Agency is aware of this supposed event, but considering the denial most folks are in, I question whether the right people have been contacted. If I had witnessed the event, I believe I would probably have reported it directly to the Base Commander myself. I leave the report to you to evaluate and take whatever action you think is appropriate.

((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Hi yes! I was standing in my driveway, looking up at my gutter, when I noticed something just above the house. What caught my attention was the glare that came off of it, kinda like the way the sun reflects off a plane . As I'm watching it , it seemed as tho it was descending toward the ground. It was orb shaped, silver metallic in color, no sound coming from or following it. I was watching this object for a good 45 seconds and then it just disappeared. After it was gone, I scanned the sky to see if I noticed any planes or anything else, but there was nothing! It was a clear sky, no clouds around. No wind at all. It was approximately 4:20 in the afternoon. ((END ADDENDUM))
