The report, as filed

A round object appeared at least 25,000 feet. Object appeared through a translucent cloud. Object initially appeared metallic silver color then turned to a deep red light which lasted 2-3 seconds then disappeared. It never reappeared, but was very clear and solid. This remained still, never moving. It could no way be a plane or jet as the cloud moved uncovering the object which made it clearly visible. A plane\jet would have been visible with wings and would have been moving. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

I was recording a lightening storm on our patio because it started to become more frequent and aggressive and caught something come out of the storm

There was a thunderstorm or heat lightening over the lake east of me. No sound so it must have been heat lightening and it became more rapid so I filmed it. I saw a blip in the corner so I stopped and reviewed it and saw this. And it was fast. Slowing it down there's a tail to it. I star watch all the time and the closest thing I can compare it to was a comet or something same color in Madison, WI I saw the night before my brother's graduation but to my knowledge comets or meteors don't go up....

As I had just stepped outside to have a smoke, I saw three orange-color, triangular-shaped, objects floating soundlessly in the sky, in one line, from SW to NE, followed by what appeared to be a jet. The objects had no sound but the jet had engine sound. They then all disappeared from my sight behind tall trees.
